NACCB CODE OF ETHICS
Ethical practices relating to interaction with consultants
a. No member may knowingly misrepresent consultant's skills or experience to clients.
b. Each NACCB firm will obtain the approval of consultant prior to presenting their resume to clients.
c. Each NACCB firm will actively avoid presenting a consultant who has already been submitted to the client by another firm.
d. Each NACCB firm will strictly refrain from willful misrepresentation regarding billing rate, approximate length of assignment, or any other subject that is pertinent to the business relationship.
e. NACCB firms will refrain from soliciting or encouraging consultant to reveal confidential sales leads.
f. Each NACCB firm may include a reasonable "Freeze Out Clause," not to exceed one year, in its consultant contract. Firms are required to ask a consultant if he/she is subject to a "Freeze Out Clause", when the potential for one exists.
g. NACCB firms agree to honor all aspects of their contracts with their consultant. In particular, NACCB firms shall honor their contractual obligations to pay consultant for their services.
